About the Role

At Genesis CTE we support children and young people who have experienced trauma and adversity across our Gloucestershire homes. Our care workers help young people rediscover their confidence, build trust in adults, and take their first steps toward a brighter future.

What You Will Be Doing

 • Building genuine, trusting relationships with young people across our Gloucestershire homes

 • Supporting daily life — mealtimes, activities, school runs, and bedtime routines

 • Using our PACE approach — Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy

 • Working as part of a close-knit team that has each other's backs

 • Keeping clear records and contributing to each young person's care plan What We Are Looking For

 • Genuine warmth and patience with young people

 • Resilience and the ability to stay calm under pressure

 • No formal qualifications required — we hire on values

 • Experience in care, NHS, parenting, fostering, or youth work is a real advantage

 What You Will Get
