
About the Role
A hands-on, practical role keeping our residential homes safe, comfortable, and well maintained. A well-maintained, homely environment plays a real part in the therapeutic care we provide.
What You Will Be Doing
Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep across our homes
Responding to maintenance requests from home managers promptly
Ensuring all homes meet health and safety standards
Completing regular safety checks and keeping accurate records
Liaising with external contractors where specialist work is required
Travelling between our sites across Gloucestershire
What We Are Looking For
Proven experience in a maintenance, handyperson, or facilities role
Ability to work independently across multiple sites
Good working knowledge of health and safety requirements
Full UK driving licence — essential
DBS check required
What You Will Get
£26,000 – £28,000 FTE (pro rata, 24–32 hours over 3–4 days)
Monday to Friday — no shift work or weekends
